Year 6 Trip to Shropshire

3rd May:
After an action packed few days a trip to West Midlands Safari and Theme Park was the perfect way to end our Shropshire adventures. The children were enthralled by white Bengal tigers and lions, cheetahs, Philappeano deer on the verge of extinction and giraffes. The trip ended on a high note with the children having a few hours in the theme park. Despite the showers, fun was had by all and the children were in their element.

2nd May (continued):
We spent the afternoon at Blists Hill, a recreated Victorian town. All the children enjoyed talking to the shopkeepers, watching various crafts being practised and spending their money on unusual Victorian trinkets. After a busy afternoon exploring and experiencing life as a Victorian in Blists Hill Victorian village, the children re-energised themselves ready for the adrenalin-fulled fun of the Snow Dome. A great time was had by all.

2nd May:
A very creative morning producing our own works of art at the Jack Field tile museum. I wonder how they will turn out?

1st May (continued):
The children were challenged all afternoon with a selection of outdoor team building activities ranging from archery, problem solving, fire building and bread making. After an action packed day in the fresh air, the children finished off the day with an exciting game of ten pin bowling.

1st May:
All the children had a fantastic time building bridges, creating energy from water and exploring the elements in the scientific world.

30th April:
Year 6 start their adventure with a visit to Cadbury World. Highlights were the 4D experience and chocolate tasting! The meal at Loch Fyne was absolutely delicious and all the children were full to the brim. Happy children!
