Reception Trip to the Museum of East Anglian Life

The sun truly shone on the Reception children on Tuesday 16th May as we visited the Museum of East Anglian Life.  We enjoyed visiting an amazing array of exhibits ranging from a tin bath to a 14th century farmhouse, from Victorian school desks to traction engines and a watermill. History was brought to life by a teacher walking around in period costume explaining what life was like for Victorian children. The children enjoyed the river walk and looking at the farm animals especially watching the lambs being fed by bottles. The highlights of the trips were some children and adults getting covered in mud by a friendly pig, Mrs. Carney’s and Florence’s’ unexpected trip on an electric buggy and playing on the adventure playground.
