Match Reports – W/C 25th November

The End of a great Season!

This week our sports teams played their final matches of the term ending a highly successful season for all.

Our U9 Netball teams enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of fixtures at St Joseph’s College on Monday which was the perfect end to a great season.  The girls played a total of six matches against both St Joseph’s and Woodbridge School Prep and gained  some impressive results too.  We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to all of our players who have conducted themselves so brilliantly at home and away matches and shown real promise for the future.  Well done girls, we are all so incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and you should be too.

We will now be preparing the girls for a season of Hockey and are very much looking forward to enjoying even more success in the new year.

It has been an incredible first competitive season for all our Under 9 boys’ Football teams.  They have risen to every challenge put before them and should be very proud of their achievements.  The terms highlights include:

  • The Under 9 “A” team being crowned ISA National Football champions and also winning our own annual “A” Under 9 Football competition.
  • The Under 9 “A” team completing an unbeaten season this week with a 4-1 win against St Joseph’s College.
  •  The Under 9 “B” team winning the plate in our annual “B” team Football Tournament.
  •  The Under 9 “B” team winning their final match 5-3 against St Joseph’s college.

Well done to all the boys!

Under 11 and Under 10 Boys Rugby

All of our senior boys’ Rugby teams can reflect on a great Rugby season.  Over the past two years the game seems to have got faster and more physical at all levels and this is a challenge the boys have risen to this year in every match.  The highlights from this term include:

  • The Under 11 “A” team finishing second in the ISA National Rugby finals.
  • The Under 10 “A” team finishing third in the ISA National Rugby finals
  • The Under 11 “B” team had an unbeaten season.

Well done to all the boys and again a big thank you for all the parental support.  On Wednesday our senior teams played their last games of the season, in a triangular competition against Woodbridge Prep and St Joseph’s College.  Once again they played with passion and pride.
