ISA Regional Athletics Champions!

ISA Athletics Success

Sport at Littlegarth

On Friday our year 4, 5 and 6 Athletics team travelled to Garon Park Athletics stadium in Southend, to compete in the 2017 ISA Regional Athletics competition.  This has always been a very competitive day, with over 20 schools competing from across the Eastern region. Traditionally Littlegarth has always performed well in this event and I am pleased to announce that the tradition has continued!

In all there were 9 team trophies to compete for and of the 9, Littlegarth won 7! The team results were as follows:

  • Year 4 Girls Regional Champions.
  • Year 4 Boys Regional Runners up.
  • Year 5 Girls Regional third place.
  • Year 5 Boys Regional Champions.
  • Year 6 Girls Regional Champions.
  • Year 6 Boys Regional Champions.
  • Over all Girls Regional Champions.
  • Over all Boys Regional Champions.
  • Over all Regional Champions.

This is an incredible achieve and is a 9th year in a row that the school has won the overall title.

The success continues with National Final qualification

On an individual basis the school saw 16 pupils in all qualify for the National finals in 10 separate events:
