ISA National Netball Finals

The U11A Netball team travelled to Oundle School after qualifying for the National Netball Finals.  There were 18 schools competing at the Nationals and the girls played exceptionally well.  After the pool stages, the team were entered into the Plate competition and managed to win their quarter-final round 2-1.  The semi-final match proved a nail-biter.  We were drawn against West Lodge and after leading 5-3, West Lodge pulled it back so that on the final whistle the score was 5-5.  The match had to go to extra-time with each team attempting to gain a 2-goal lead which would seal the win.  Unfortunately, West Lodge over turned our centre and scored a goal.  They then went on to score another goal which meant the score was 7-5 so they won and went through to the final.  Although the girls felt disappointed that they had not reached the final of the plate competition, they should be very proud of their teamwork, commitment and dedication to their Netball not only at the Nationals but throughout the term.  They have been a real pleasure to teach.  Overall placing at the ISA Netball Nationals: 9th.  Well done Team Littlegarth!
