Climate Change Success!

Last term children in Year 6 spent time in Geography and Computer Studies lessons researching climate change and looking at practical ways that we can make a difference to help combat this important issue. After thorough research and preparation the children then prepared an essay which addressed these issues and these essays were entered into an international essay writing competition run by the Trust for Sustainable Living. Over 1200 children entered the competition and entries were submitted from 77 countries. Everyone at Littlegarth was delighted that Daisy Condon’s essay was chosen for an ‘Honourable Mention’ by the judging panel, which meant her essay was in the top 33% of all entries in the world!
